U-23 USWNT Forward

PLAYING with LA BLUES SUMMER 2014

 

Joined the Blues late in 2013 for playoffs, scoring one goal and assisting another in the Western Conference Championship game.

Forced the own-goal against Laval in the W-League final.

 

Wake Forest's first player to make the USWNT player pool.

 

Finished her collegiate career as the leading goal-scorer in school history with 50, and 25 assists.

 

A member of the team that won the 2012 CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship and won the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan.

Won the W-League with the Pali Blues in 2013.

 

Won the NCAA College Cup with UCLA in 2013.

 

Began her involvement with the U.S. National Team Program at the U-14 level and has played with the U-18 WNT.

 

Caprice was a starter on the U-17 team prior to qualifying for the Women's World Cup, however, she was unable to compete in World Cup Qualifying due to injury.

Abby has been a member of the Under-23 and Under-20 U.S. National Team pools. She has played with U-23s at the 2013 Four Nations Tournament, which was won by the U.S and was a starting defender on the U-17 National Team.

Alex Morgan

Alex Morgan

An Olympic gold medalist, Alex played with the Pali Blues in 2010. She is a forward for the USWNT and Portland Thorns FC, and went to college at Cal. After playing for the Blues in 2010, Morgan was drafted number one overall in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash where she made her professional debut.

Kelley O'Hara

Kelley O'Hara

Olympic Gold Medalist with the USWNT where she is a defender, and a forward for professional National Women's Soccer League club Sky Blue FC. While spending the summer of 2009 with the Blues just before her final college season, she tallied four goals and helped the team win the W-League Championship. She played at Stanford where she ended her career with 57 goals and 32 assists (both school records at the time), and won the 2009 MAC Hermann Trophy, awarded to the best collegiate player.

Tobin Powell Heath

Tobin Powell Heath

Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, and attacking midfielder for the USWNT, Tobin has played for Paris Saint-Germain FC in France, and most recently signed with the Potland Thorns of NWSL. After playing with the Blues, Heath was the first overall pick in Women's Professional Soccer 2010 draft and was selected by the expansion Atlanta Beat. She had a standout career at UNC.

Christen Annemarie Press

Christen Annemarie Press

Forward for the USWNT, Tyresö FF in Sweden, and currently for the Chicago Red Stars of NWSL. Before playing with the LA Blues, she was a 2010 MAC Hermann Trophy recipient and holds the all-time scoring record at Stanford University. Press was drafted to the Washington Freedom as the fourth overall pick in the 2011 WPS Draft.

Lauren Holiday

Lauren Holiday

Two-time Olympic gold medalist and plays midfield and forward for the USWNT. She currently plays for FC Kansas City in the NWSL. During the summer of 2009, Holiday played with LA Blues. Throughout the entire regular season, the Blues did not lose a match and finished first in the Western Conference, while going on to win the W-League Championship.

Whitney Elizabeth Engen

Whitney Elizabeth Engen

Defender for the USWNT and Houston Dash of NWSL. Engen played for the LA Blues in 2009. She was drafted 4th overall to the Chicago Red Stars in the 2010 WPS Draft. She played with the Western New York Flash in 2011 where she was named Defender of the Year as the Flash won the WPS Championship. In 2012, Engen also played with Liverpool Ladies, and had a stint with Tyresö in their UEFA Women's Champions League.

Elizabeth Ely "Liz" Bogus

Elizabeth Ely "Liz" Bogus

A forward and outside midfielder, Liz is currently signed with FC Kansas City in the NWSL. She previously played for the Seattle Reign FC in the NWSL as well as the Los Angeles Sol and the Boston Breakers in the WPS. After playing with the LA Blues in 2008 and winning the W-League Championship, she was drafted by FC Gold Pride in the 2008 WPS General Draft. She was traded just before the start of the season to the Los Angeles Sol, eventual WPS Championship finalists.

Amy LePeilbet

Amy LePeilbet

Olympic Gold Medalist, USWNT defender, currently plays for FC Kansas City in the NWSL. In 2008, she played for the Pali Blues and appeared in 12 games. The Blues came in first in the Western Conference and clinched the W-League championship title with a win over FC Indiana. Scored the game-winner in that match and was named the Most Valuable Player of the W-League Championship.

Rachel Daly

England Forward

PLAYING with LA BLUES SUMMER 2014

 

Following arguably the greatest season in St. John’s women’s soccer history, forward Rachel Daly was recently called to join the England senior team at a training camp that took place in La Manga, Portugal, in January.

 

Daly, a native of England, has experience playing with the Three Lions’ U-19, U-17 and U-15 squads, earns her first senior call-up.

 

Daly was a member of England’s U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup team that finished fourth in New Zealand in 2008.

Sarah Killion

U-23 USWNT Midfielder

PLAYING with LA BLUES SUMMER 2014

 

Sarah Killion is a skilled midfielder for UCLA and represents the USA at the U-23 level. She helped lead the Blues to a the W-League Championship in the summer of 2013, and followed up with the NCAA College Cup later that year.

Aubrey Bledsoe

U-23 USWNT Goalkeeper

PLAYING with LA BLUES SUMMER 2014

 

One of Wake Forest's best products, represents the USA at the U-23 level, and has signed with the Blues for the 2014 season.

 

Has played for the USA at the U-18, U-19, and U-23 Youth National Teams.

 

Helped the USA win the Six Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain in January 2013.
